Lat week’s Athlete of the Week was Sophie Hollingshead for varsity girls touch football. As the quarterback she showed calm leadership throughout the tournament, helping the new players learn the game and build confidence. Her great arm and coachability helped us have a great day and the whole team is excited to have her as the captain again next year.
This week’s Athlete of the Week is Natalie Begley for Grade 9 Girls soccer. Her incredible talent was noticed by all players and coaches in the tournament. Even when down by 2 players she kept fighting to stay in the game and motivated her teammates to an incredible team effort. Very excited to see this young athlete play again in the future.
